Admissions at Brakwa Senior High Technical School are highly competitive, with only half of applicants gaining admission each year. The process is merit-based, relying on the results of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (B.E.C.E.). Applicants from junior secondary schools must achieve at least a grade one in six subjects of the BECE administered by the West African Examination Council (W.A.E.C.). The Ghana Education Service oversees a computerized selection process, with results publicly posted on the school’s notice board.
Brakwa Senior High Technical School also attracts numerous applicants due to its exceptional performance. Admitted students benefit from various programs offered by the school. Upon admission, students are expected to maintain academic standards, with those consistently falling below asked to repeat or withdraw.
Students are responsible for marking their possessions, as the school cannot guarantee against loss or damage. Accommodation is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Enrollment occurs in October with the academic year divided into two semesters. All students must possess a National Health Insurance Card and bring the required articles. Medical fitness is mandatory for participation in physical education and school activities, with medical reports necessary for any issues affecting fitness.
All students placed in the school through the CSSPS system must register on the school’s online admission portal. Click on the button to register.
